Emma Craig

Brought up on a mixed livestock farm in East Yorkshire, Emma has worked within AHDB since graduating from Newcastle University in 2016 with a first class degree in Agriculture & Livestock Production Science.

She spent three years working on sheep and beef genetic evaluations within Signet, followed by more than five years looking after Midlands beef and sheep levy payers in the knowledge exchange/engagement team.

In 2025, she moved into a national role within the engagement team on secondment, and is responsible for developing knowledge exchange and engagement strategies for beef and sheep genetics, plus supporting with AHDB Beef & Lamb's Roots to Resilience programme.
