Committees

The AHDB board is supported by two statutory sub-committees. See below for their membership and terms of reference. 

To comply with HM Treasury’s corporate governance code for central government and the AHDB Framework Document, the AHDB board is supported by two statutory sub-committees: 

•  Audit and Risk Assurance Committee (ARAC)
•  Remuneration and Nominations Committee (RemNom)

Each committee has its own set of delegated responsibilities and authority allowing the board and CEO (as Accounting Officer) to be assured that appropriate governance and scrutiny is taking place. 

Membership of these statutory committees is drawn from the AHDB board and sector councils. The committees themselves are supported by AHDB’s leadership team, senior team and governance manager.
