Pension arrangements
AHDB has two defined benefit pension arrangements, both of which are closed to new members. They are:
- Home-Grown Cereals Authority (HGCA) Pension Plan
- Meat and Livestock Commission (MLC) Pension Scheme
The Trustees of these arrangements are required (from 2020) to publish a Statement of Investment Principles (SIP) each year. These are provided below:

From April 2018 all organisations with over 250 employees must publish details on their gender pay gap. Statistics for AHDB can be found below and should be considered within the wider context of the organisation’s structure and evolution.
