Beef and lamb key performance indicators (KPIs)
Our key performance indicators (KPIs) help you understand how your business is performing compared with other beef and lamb farms and highlight areas for improvement.
KPIs are a set of figures that help you manage your farm by showing, at a glance, which areas are performing well and those that need to be reviewed.
We’ve simplified the available on-farm measures for good performance. These are a mix of technical performance, financial and environmental indicators and they are split into Breeding flocks, Purchased store lambs, Suckler herds and Growing and Finishing beef cattle.
The KPIs shows targets for performing well, room to improve and review performance, based on farm data averaged over 3-5years, research projects and expert opinion from across the industry.
