Join us for an informative morning focused on the benefits of using cover crops in a Scottish farming system.

Whether you’re new to cover crops or looking to refine your approach this is a great
opportunity to:

  • Hear from local specialists.
  • Discuss the benefits of picking the correct mix for your circumstance, nutrient cycling, grazing integration, and resilience.
  • Understand how cover crops improve soil health.
  • See cover crops in the field
  • Look at the results of different establishment methods

After a delicious lunch we will move onto Mains of Kelly farm where host farmer Malcolm Pattullo will lead us on a farm walk to look at his cover crops.

Please bring appropriate clothing for a field walk.

Basis and Nroso points will be available.
