East Yorkshire Farm Network: Putting IPM into practice

Join us at Bishop Burton College for an interactive event exploring how Integrated Pest Management (IPM) can support resilient and profitable crop production.

The programme will include a hands-on carabid beetle identification workshop led by Dr. Kelly Jowett, from Rothamsted Research, helping attendees recognise beneficial insects and understand the role they play in natural pest control.

You'll also hear the latest updates from AHDB's Dr. Sacha White on aphid and barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) monitoring tools, alongside discussions on current IPM research, practical implementation and opportunities to reduce reliance on chemical controls.

This event offers the chance to build your IPM knowledge, share experiences with fellow growers and advisers and discover the latest research and resources available to support on-farm decision making.
