Pembrokeshire Monitor Farm Final Meeting
You are invited to join us for a farm walk at the final Pembrokeshire Monitor Farm meeting hosted by Tom Rees.
Even if you haven’t ever attended a Monitor Farm meeting the content will be relevant.
What will this meeting cover?
During the farm walk, we will be looking at the current crops as well as discussing topics covered in the past 4 years of the Pembrokeshire Monitor Farm, such as:
- Reducing the variability of farm fixed costs: designing a machinery policy for a typical Pembrokeshire arable enterprise
- Can precision farming help your farm performance and profitability? At what cost
- How has Tom approached building and maintaining soil health at Dudwell?
- Agronomy programmes that suit wet West Wales
- What does a profitable arable rotation look like?
- What is the silver bullet to achieving a low cost of production?
The event is free to attend, but please register to allow us to cater for you accordingly. If weather permits there will be a field walk so, please bring suitable footwear & clothing.
BASIS and NRoSO points will be available.
