Approach: Tom and Debbie are leading a three-year comparison of a multi-species herbal mix and a simpler mix, assessing how each option influences soil health and wider farm performance. The project is designed to provide practical insight into the value of different cover or herbal mix options, helping inform future soil health, drainage and IPM decisions across similar farming systems.
