Video case studio : Cooperativa Agraria Provincial de A Coruña - Galician confidence in the rural sector

This EuroDairy video case study from Galicia (Spain) shows how a cooperative offering advice to farmers bought a farm “Granxa O Cancelo”, for use as a learning and demonstration centre for dairy farmers. It seeks to inspire farmers by efficiently managing technical and economic factors (feeding,  milking, welfare, environment, labour), emphasising training and career development, adding value to its milk production, making and selling pasteurized milk and artisanal quality ice cream. Not forgetting communication to wider society, through rural education, visits from schools and by other interested parties.
