- The UK Ex-farm feed wheat price in July 2023 was down on previous year by 28.5% averaging £181.40/t
- The UK delivered bread wheat price in July 2023 in the North-West averaged £273/t
- UK feed wheat futures price (nearby) averaged £195.33/t in July 2023
- Paris maize futures price (nearby) averaged £203.94/t in July 2023
- Chicago soybean futures price (nearby) averaged £429.79/t in July 2023
- GB Planting and Variety Survey results show a decline in GB wheat area from 1801 to 1738 thousand hectares a 4% decrease year on year
- UK oat production decreased by 10% to 1.0 million tonnes
- Despite stronger wheat exports, slowing demand sees heavy end of season stocks remain
- Barley H&I demand remains at a record high this season, despite the ongoing cost-of-living crisis
