Isobel Eames

Isobel joined the Cereals and Oilseeds Knowledge Exchange Team at the beginning of April 2022 after completing four years of studying and achieving a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Agriculture with Crop Management at Harper Adams University.

Raised on an upland beef and sheep farm in Lancashire, Izzy developed a passion for the arable industry over her time at university which led her across the country completing multiple harvest jobs. She has undertaken a wide variety of practical experience on-farm which puts her in a good position to understand levy payers concerns and help them to navigate through the changes facing the industry now and in the future. In between helping on the farm at home, Izzy enjoys snowboarding when she can and clay bird shooting.

Covering the whole of the North-East of England, Izzy is looking after AHDB’s Farm Excellence Platform and the Arable Business Groups to help farmers and growers benchmark their businesses, drive innovation and increase productivity.
