Sophie Allery

Sophie joined AHDB in 2025 after completing a BSc (Hons) degree in Bioveterinary Science at Harper Adams University. She spent her placement year with Grosvenor Farms in Cheshire, undertaking milking, calving and youngstock roles. Her passion for welfare and evidence-based best practice led her to a dissertation on rearing dairy calves which received the RSPCA Farm Animal Health and Welfare award.  

Sophie supports the regional KEMs at events such as strategic dairy farm meetings and shows. She is responsible for updating web content, managing publications, and organises the resources that support campaigns and events.
