2025 National Youngstock Conference

This conference aims to promote best practice and facilitate the exchange of ideas relevant to all stages of youngstock rearing. It will feature a series of practical seminars addressing the latest developments in cattle breeding, nutrition and health.

​The 2025 National Youngstock Conference will be held on 16 July at The National Conference Centre in Solihull, near Birmingham. Now in its fourth year, and at a new location, the National Youngstock Conference provides a forum for producers, vets, researchers and other dairy and beef professionals to meet and discuss key topics.

It has been designed to cater for all levels of experience and knowledge.

What to expect at the conference

Halcyon Hayward, AHDB Animal Health and Welfare Scientist, will present a progress report on the GB Calf Strategy and plans for the next phase to 2030.
