Join the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) teams from AHDB, NFUS and The Voluntary Initiative on farm to discover how to get much more out of your IPM plan.

IPM is going to become a major part of the new Scottish agricultural policy. So, attend this event to ensure you get ahead of the rest.

The meeting will cover

  • What does best practice look like?
  • Harvest hygiene – Kristina Grenz, AHDB
  • Disease pressures
  • Predators and beneficiaries – Laura James, AHDB

Throughout the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to discuss how and why to use IPM with experts as well as networking with fellow farmers.

There will also – weather permitting – be a short farm walk at the end of the afternoon to discover some of the things host farmer Alistair Stewart is up to and how he utilises IPM on his farm.

The meeting will be followed by a barbecue.

Basis and NRoSo points will be available for this event.
