Recent seasons have shown just how variable growing conditions can be. From prolonged wet periods and difficult establishment conditions to drought, heat stress and extreme weather events. Building a resilient farming business has never been more important.

Join us at this Monitor Farm meeting as we explore what a changing climate could mean for UK arable farming and discuss practical ways to improve the resilience of your farm business.

Drawing on experiences from recent seasons, we'll look at the challenges and opportunities ahead and identify actions that can help farms adapt to increasing uncertainty.

The meeting will bring together farmers, advisers and industry experts to share knowledge, experiences and practical solutions that can support resilient crop production and long-term business performance.

What we’ll cover

  • Climate policy updates – Saskia van Dongen, AHDB Environment team
  • Building resilience on farm – Alice Sins, AHDB Environment team
  • Building crop resilience – Domonic Cope, Cope Seeds
  • Building financial resilience – Sarah Baker, AHDB Head Economist

Refreshments will be provided. BASIS and NRoSO points have been applied for.
