To plough or not to plough - with John Pawsey

To plough or not to plough... that is the question that will be answered by John Pawsey at this event, where we look into shallow ploughing as an option for the maintenance of soil health.

We will cover

• The importance of leys in a regenerative system
• Building organic matter within the arable rotation
• The management of weeds in the absence of herbicides
• Understanding damage through cultivation
• Restoring damaged soils

Registration will start from 10:00am and lunch will be provided. Please bring suitable footwear and clothing for a short field walk.

The event is free to attend, but please register to allow us to cater accordingly and advise us of any special dietary requirements.
