South East and East Anglia regions get new dairy knowledge exchange manager

Daisy Green has joined AHDB as a new knowledge exchange manager for the Dairy sector, covering the South East and East Anglia. With her extensive experience and expertise in the dairy industry, Daisy will be an invaluable asset to the team.

Daisy brings with her a wealth of knowledge and practical experience in the sector. She has a passion for maximising the efficiency of grassland and utilising grazing as a tool to help make systems more sustainable.

She previously worked on a 600-cow split block grazing farm with a special focus on youngstock and grass management. With an agricultural science degree from Harper Adams University, Daisy is well-equipped to provide valuable insights and guidance to the team.

As the knowledge exchange manager, Daisy will be responsible for current discussion groups and strategic dairy farms in the East of England, from Leicestershire to the South Coast. She will build working relationships and share best practices with key industry stakeholders in the regions.

Daisy's role will involve organising and delivering training, setting up webinars to disseminate information and facilitating knowledge-sharing among dairy farmers.
In addition to her knowledge exchange responsibilities, Daisy will have a crucial role in gathering feedback from farmers and industry stakeholders.
