Understanding grassland and forage management

Improving grassland and home-grown forage utilisation is a key driver for improving on-farm profitability. 

However, it is currently unclear which grassland Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are most valued when looking to improve the efficient use of home-grown grass and forage.

KPIs help farmers to benchmark performance and identify areas to improve farmers' competitiveness.

As part of a masters research project, we've created a short anonymous online survey to help us get a better understanding of current management and the role of KPI’s.
