7:00pm - 8:30pm

Join us for this webinar exploring the ‘dos and don’ts’ of cattle handling with Neil Chesterton a New Zealand vet who consults on cow-flow and low stress handling of milking herds.

If you or your team get frustrated when cows won't move up a race, had close calls with a cow lashing out or are irritated when tasks take too long when handling cattle, then this webinar is for you.

You'll develop a better understanding of cow behaviour, the impact of your actions and improve cattle handling skills to save you time, reduce stress on both people and animals and make your farm a safer place to work.

In this webinar, you will learn how to:

  • Understand how cows see and feel
  • Adapt your behaviour around cows
  • Make handling cattle easier and ultimately quicker
  • Improve overall stockmanship of livestock on your farm

Sadly, we can’t record the webinar so please register to watch live so you don’t miss out.

About Neil Chesterton

Neil is a veterinarian in New Zealand working with dairy cows on pasture.  His early research into understanding lameness identified pressure handling of the herd as a significant risk factor for lameness  in pasture based systems.  His ongoing research has led to extensive experience in training dairy farmers and stockmen in low stress handling of milking herds. Neil has travelled widely consulting on cow-flow and lameness problems.  Over the years he has produced materials that are practical and easily understood by farmers much of which is available on his website.  Neil is passionate about getting his message across using videos and stories.
