Struggling with establishing and managing herbal leys? You’re not alone! 

Come along to this farm walk to hear from Ben Rodgers, a Catchment Sensitive Farming Officer who specialises in herbal leys, and benefit from the experience of our host farmer, James Falconer. Share your own knowledge of trying to establish herbal leys - are they Good, Bad, or Ugly? What are the best establishment methods and ongoing management? Help us come up with solutions. 

Programme

  • 10.45am Arrival with tea and coffee
  • 11.00am Welcome and introductions
  • 11.05am Short 15 minutes talks from CSF officers Rosie Law and Amy Riley
  • 11.20am Farm walk to look at the herbal leys led by the host farmer and Ben Rodgers
  • 12.30pm Lunch
  • 1.00pm  Presentation on Powerpoint from Ben Rodgers
  • 2.15pm  Sum up and tea and coffee
