Hale Village Monitor Farm summer farm walk
You are invited to join us on a farm walk at Hale Village Monitor Farm.
We look forward to welcoming you the final Hale Village Monitor Farm meeting where we will be on-farm for a look at the cropping for harvest 2023.
Tim Parton (Brewood Park Farm) will join us to talk about farming differently, and there will be stimulating discussions around the season so far and some big topics including soil, rotations and organic inputs.
What will this meeting cover?
During the farm walk, we will be looking at the current crops as well as discussing:
- 3 years on, what is the impact of the compost try out? How much will it yield this year?
- Regenerative agriculture – farming differently. How do the crops look? And how does it stack up financially?
- Has Bill won the Ryegrass battle?
Registration and refreshments will be available from 10:30am with presentations commencing at 11:00am and lunch will be provided.
This meeting is free to attend, but please register using the 'Book Now' button so that we can organise catering.
BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.
Please bring suitable footwear and clothing for a field walk.
