Improving weaning weights: Wiltshire

Come and find out how you can improve weaning weights at our pig club next month.

We'll hear from Andrew Palmer, our knowledge exchange manager in the East, who'll be talking about the work he's doing with producers to improve weaning weights. This has inlcuded reviewing management routines and making sure accurate weight data is collected.

You'll be able to find out what's been working for the farms involved and pick up some ideas to take back to your unit.

Come along from 6.30pm to find out where we have got to, food will be served at 7pm

Our pig clubs meet regularly in the evenings during autumn/winter, providing commercial pig farmers with the opportunity to meet each other, hear from guest speakers and discuss topical issues. The meetings are relaxed and informal and, importantly, include an evening meal.
