This event will showcase the UK sheep industry, with trade stands joining breed societies and individual breeders to provide you with an opportunity to network, catch up and build relationships.

Seminars and demonstrations will offer insights on new developments within the industry and advice from industry professionals.

This year's event is being hosted by the Stanbury family, and you will be able to enjoy a tour of the family’s beef and sheep enterprise that has grown to 500 acres, plus additional rented and common grazing.

AHDB is proud to be sponsoring and exhibiting at the event.

Weston Farm

The farm currently lambs 980 ewes plus ewe lambs outside in April, and is upping sheep numbers.

The flock includes some North Country and Suffolk Mules, put to Texel tups, but the predominant breeds are now Romneys.

The farm is also venturing into wool shedding breeds with Easycare and Exlana ewes.

All sheep are finished off on grass and herbal leys with the majority of sheep (and cattle) overwintered outside.

In addition to the sheep flock, the farm has 145 spring-calving suckler cows, mostly native breeds, and is home to the Knowstone pedigree herd of Red Ruby Devon cattle.
