Dr Steven Jagger, Senior Pig Nutritionist at ABN, will be joining us to discuss the impact of pig diets on carbon values.

Hugh Crabtree, Pork sector council member, will also take us through what’s been happening in the Pork sector over the past year and what AHDB has done to meet the levy. He’ll also be on hand to answer questions on the proposed levy increase and how this will directly benefit your business, the Pork sector and the wider industry.

The meeting is suitable for unit managers and their staff.

A meal will be served at 7:00pm.

Dr Steven Jagger

Steve gained his PhD at the University of Nottingham under the guidance of Julian Wiseman and the late Des Cole. He then began his commercial life in 1986 and joined SCA, specialising in the development of piglet diets before moving to Dalgety Agriculture Ltd five years later as Technical Manager for pigs. 

Steve is responsible for product development and the provision of technical support for the UK market.

Steve is married with four children and four grandchildren.
