We have published the winter wheat yellow rust ratings for RL 2026/27 earlier than usual. It follows highly unusual levels of the disease in some winter wheat varieties during 2025 and the confirmation that a major disease resistance gene has been overcome. Some varieties have lost as many as five rating points.
