Join us and Dr Nollaig Heffernan as she challenges the stigmas and habits built in to day-to-day life. She'll work with you to appreciate your good habits and identify ones that may be adding to your to-do list, not helping you cross things off.

Nollaig is well-versed in what makes farms and farmers tick, using a business-focused approach to the psychology behind habits. Discussions will be audience-led, with time to talk about the areas that interest you most.

What you'll learn:

  • How the skills you use every day are transferrable into other areas of the business
  • Which habits can sabotage your progress
  • Why you might feel guilt when you're not working, and how to manage that

Nollaig says:

"My suggestions cost our farmers nothing financially but can create a significant return for the business."

She will cover how understanding habits, decision-making and workload pressures can help create a more productive business and a better working environment for staff, family members and the next generation.

Who it's for:

  • Those working with family members
  • Smaller farm teams
  • Individuals wanting to learn about farm psychology

If you're working with a larger team, try our evening meeting that covers the same theories and applies them to managing teams.
