Please note, this event has been postponed and will no longer be taking place on 14 November 2024.

This interactive, practical session on soil carbon and carbon credits will show how you can make them work for your farm business.

There is a lot of talk in the farming industry about soil carbon, carbon credits and the carbon market.

Among all the jargon it can be hard to understand how this applies to your business, and where the opportunities and potential pitfalls might be, both now and in the future.

Join Dr Matt Jordon, Northumberland beef and sheep farmer, and Chief Scientific Officer at Regenerate Outcomes, for a presentation and discussion which will unpack some of the key concepts around carbon and how to apply them to your business.

Liz Genever, independent beef and sheep consultant, will lead an interactive session on wider soil health questions and help generate ideas for the next steps to make your businesses more resilient.

Please arrive at 6:30pm for tea and coffee, Liz will then lead the opening session.

Matt will speak from 7:30pm for around 45 minutes, after which there will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.

Regenerate Outcomes supports farms to improve soil health, through one-to-one mentoring together with measurement and verification of soil carbon credits.
