Join AHDB Senior Analyst, Luke Crossman, for a webinar, looking at what it is that top performing beef and sheep farms are doing differently from others.

Did you know, in 2017 the top quartile farmers made, on average, £42,000 from farming?

AHDB has compared farms of varying sizes through individual farm data and is able to work out a return dependant on farm size. So, smaller farms with minimal turnover can be compared equally to larger farms and estates.

More than 70 per cent of the difference between top and bottom quartile farms is due to decisions made by the farmer. The factors you can’t change are mostly of small importance to performance.
