Temporary service interruption to UK Pig Industry Welfare Training Platform

We are in the process of moving the UK Pig Industry Welfare Training to a new platform. This should be completed by 1 October 2025. The content and function of the training will remain the same.

However, in preparation for the migration to the new platform, we encourage anyone who has paid for Module 1 of the Moving and Handling Pigs course but not yet completed it to do so by 24 September 2025.

If you have started the course, we cannot guarantee that the progress made so far will be transferred to the new platform. To ensure all progress is transferred, we recommend that the course is completed fully by the above date.

We also recommend that any requests for bulk uploads of registrations and purchases of the training are not made between 24 September 2025 and 1 October 2025.

Please be aware that there will be some downtime on Tuesday 30 September after 7:00pm when the training will not be accessible. The training should be available again by Wednesday 1 October 2025.

In addition, all users will be prompted to reset their passwords when they login to the training portal for the first time after 1 October 2025.
