Introducing cattle into arable rotations to ‘beef’ up the profit margin
Join us for a discussion on the latest AHDB-funded research, which investigates the benefits of running sustainable beef systems on arable units.

Integrating beef cattle into arable rotations provides new opportunities for both beef producers and arable farmers. The project aimed to investigate the practical, economic, environmental and agronomic implications of integrating beef cattle into arable systems.
The panel will discuss all of these considerations from both a research and practical farming experience. The webinar will cover:
- Livestock performance
- Soil quality and benefit to the following crop
- Effectiveness of blackgrass control
- Cost-benefit analysis
