Shape the Future votes pass 2,500 with six days to go
Tuesday, 3 May 2022
A total of 2,527 levy payers who registered to take part in Shape the Future have so far had their say on what their priorities are for AHDB over the next five years.
With six days to go, those yet to vote have until noon on Monday 9 May to provide their opinion on the main issues facing their sectors as well as scoring the areas of work delivered by AHDB and ratifying the new members of the four Sector Councils.
The initial results will be presented to levy payers once the voting process has been completed with the Sector Councils meeting in June and July to discuss how they should be implemented in each sector.
AHDB’s Divisional Director of Engagement Will Jackson said: “For those levy payers who have registered to vote, please don’t waste this opportunity to have your say.
“The more feedback we get from you, the more robust the data will be that we have to share with our Sector Councils.
“Spending 15 minutes voting on the priorities for your sector will make a difference about how your levy invested for the next five years.”
With the voting window open for four weeks (11 April – 9 May) levy payers who have registered to take part in the Beef and Lamb, Cereals and Oilseeds, Dairy and Pork sectors have been sent an email and unique link taking them to the website to have their say or a postal pack with the voting questions.
For more information on this process please visit the main Shape the Future page.
