At the start of his Monitor Farm programme in 2019, Gary Shipley wanted to grow and improve his business while reducing his impact on the environment. A year ago, he had started to investigate using cover crops in the rotation for soil benefits. Join him to discuss his next step: adding a new pig enterprise to his farm's business portfolio. Using Farmbench, Gary will discuss the cost implications of using manure in nutrient management plans.
