Small Changes show Results: The story so far at Kirkhouse Farm: Cumbria

Join us at a AHDB Strategic Farm meeting, hosted by Edward Dean near Brampton. Over the last two years of the Strategic Farm Programme, Edward has made a number of small changes which have helped him begin to improve the financial and physical performance of his business.

This event will be an opportunity to review all of the changes implemented including:

• Options for grassland management during unpredictable weather patterns
• Reducing the calving period without impacting performance
• Adoption of AI and heat detection system
• Use of FEC pak in the sheep system

The event will be a great opportunity to hear about and discuss the changes that Edward has made and reflect on what small changes could make a  difference to your own enterprise.
