During this webinar, you will learn about veterinary attestation numbers (VANs) and the implications for your pig enterprise.
This webinar will include presentations from the British Pig Association (BPA), AHDB and the Association of Independent Meat Suppliers (AIMS).
We will discuss the different options that you have for obtaining a veterinary attestation number – including the Animal Health and Welfare Pathway – and demonstrate how to provide the number to your abattoir or market.
AIMS, which represents smaller abattoirs, will be available to answer questions about VANs and the other Food Chain Information (FCI) that is required on movement licenses.
AHDB will also be answering questions about movement licenses and Pig Hub.
