Sheep event at Ruswarp Livestock Market - North Yorkshire

Join us at this sheep event at Ruswarp Livestock Market open to all sheep producers and young farmers.  There will be a breeding sheep display and competition as well as a lamb selection and butchery demonstration.

Agenda

6:00pm – Supper in the ‘Tea-Hut’
6:30pm – Welcome in the Main Ring

This will be followed by two sessions of breeding sheep judging competition with Mr James Glaves which is open to all.

Understanding market requirements and a look at key handling points in selecting lambs for slaughter with Richard Whittington, AHDB

A butchery demonstration on meeting customer needs and development of new cuts with Martin Eccles, AHDB
